well i thought i would do a little experiment with this whole blog thingy.  lots of my friends have blogs and i read several myself, but i've been a bit wary of the idea.  it seems odd to have someone reading things i say unless they are completely not about me or my friends.  in any event, today is the first day and i'll just leave it at that for now.
